I don't know, there's no real purpose for the Zone chats, it's just funny af. Zone chat will be moderated by the official staff, perhaps in the future once the feature is more established we can recruit some zone chat mods that can only moderate the zone chat which are still below official mods in terms of perms so action can be taken towards them if deemed appropriate.

Syncshell Chat, on the other hand will be fully moderated by the Syncshell owner and it's moderators. They can set their own rules and decide when a line is being crossed in their Syncshell chat themselves. They have no need of following the official zone chat rules as the Syncshell chat is private for the ppl inside the Syncshell anyways.

Zone chats will show the last 4 letters of a person's UID for anonymity purposes, unless Lightfinder is enabled for BOTH users then it'll show names to each other properly.
Syncshell Chat will not be anonymized and will just show name of user as this makes more sense.
Syncshell Chat would also make it possible to talk with each other from other DCs, consider it a Group chat.
Non Lightfinder = fully anon, no profiles, no cid's or uid's shared, just their last 4 characters of the uid as the name
Lightfinder = if both parties use Lightfinder, we share cid's, allowing profiles to be viewed
- It should be possible for official staff to issue bans on people from the chat feature if they are deemed full on trolling and just making the chat unbearable/unusable. The same way we can issue bans on user and Syncshell profiles
Perhaps through a report system for users inside the chat feature.
